Shipping & Delivery

The Paper Passion is pleased to ship internationally. We appreciate your business and therefore, offer great shipping rates. Local residents have the option of picking up their orders.

Shipping within Canada

All orders within Canada are shipped via Canada Post, which includes insurance up to $100 and a tracking number.  As a result of a recent increase in postal rates by Canada Post (effective January 11, 2010) the flat shipping rates are:

Ontario:$9.00

Quebec:$9.00

Alberta: $12.00

British Columbia: $12.00

New Brunswick: $11.00

Nova Scotia: $11.00

Newfoundland: $12.00

Manitoba: $10.00

Yukon and Northwest Territories: $12.00

Saskatchewan:$10.00

Prince Edward Island: $12.00

Oversized packages will be charged an actual shipping rate, not an estimated shipping rate.  If for any reason you are charged $5.00 or more than was invoiced in shipping charges, a credit of the amount of difference will be honoured upon your next purchase. Please contact me at contactme@thepaperpassion.com if you want to know your shipping charges before your invoice is created.

Shipping Within the United States

All orders are shipped via Canada Post.  We offer a ‘flat-rate’ charge of $12.00 for standard packages.  Smaller packages and oversized packages will  be charged an actual shipping rate, not an estimated shipping rate.   If for any reason, you are charged $5.00 or more than was invoiced in shipping charges, a credit in the amount of difference will be honoured upon your next purchase. International Shipping

All international orders will be shipped actual shipping cost, regardless of size and weight.

Taxes

The Paper Passion charges the 8% Provincial Sales Tax to all orders shipped to Ontario residents or Ontario addresses. Taxes are not charged on orders shipped  to addresses outside of Ontario.  The Paper Passion is not responsible for any duty, customs, brokerage fees or foreign taxes that may apply to a shipment outside Canada.

Currency

All prices listed in Canadian dollars and are charged through PayPal in Canadian funds.

Methods of Payment

At the check-out, you are re-directed to the PayPal web-site to process credit card payments. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and debit transactions are accepted. A PayPal account is not required to process the payment. All payments are securely processed through PayPal. The Paper Passion uses PayPal for the processing of all transactions. All transactions are fully encrypted via Secure Socket Lay (SSL) protocol. This means that you can shop with confidence, knowing that your credit card and personal information are transmitted using secure, fully encrypted SSL protocol.

Damages

The Paper Passion takes every measure to ensure your order is properly packaged to minimize any damages which may occur during shipping. However, The Paper Passion is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping. All inquiries and claims regarding damages during shipping must be directed to the carrier. Please keep the original shipping container for carrier inspection.

Defective Merchandise and Return Policy

The Paper Passion takes great measure to ensure we sell only quality merchandise. However, in the event of a manufacturer defect, simply return the item and we will be happy to exchange it for you. If you are not completely satisfied with any of your products purchased at The Paper Passion, we will gladly accept the unopened, re-sellable products within 15 days of your order for 100% refund minus original shipping costs. You are responsible for the shipping charges applicable to returning the merchandise. We cannot accept returns of adhesives, books, pens, and/or paper. Please email contactme@thepaperpassion.com to advise us of a pending return.  Please note: we do not allow price adjustments in the event of a sale nor do we accept or offer refunds on sale items.
